The info for Mania 5, held Sept 18, 19 and 20, will be posted in the next few days! If you sign up to follow the blog by email, you will receive an email when the info is posted!

Create, Donate and Win!
Once again, Provo Craft has donated a Cricut machine to our Mania card drive! And this year, they have donated a brand new Cricut Explore! How exciting is that? All you have to do for a chance to win the Explore is to create 10 cards, donate them to the Mania card drive and you get one ticket in the drawing for a chance to win the Explore! And, you can make as many cards as you want! The more you create and donate, the more chances you will have to win!
In the past, we have donated cards to Operation Write Home. However, OWH is requesting fewer cards at this time as the number of deployed troops are decreasing. So for the September 2014 Mania card drive, we will be donating the cards to children's foundations and hospitals! So think fun, cheery and geared toward kids for your card designs. And don't worry if you've already made or started making cards for OWH. You can still donate those and we'll send them on to OWH.
This card drive is open to everyone whether you're attending Mania or not! If you are attending Mania, you can bring your cards with you or make them while you are there. If you aren't attending Mania, you can mail your cards to me. Just send me a message {scrapalette @gmail.com} and I'll give you the mailing address.
The drawing for the Explore will be on the last day on Mania, Sept 28. Cards that are mailed in need to be received by Sept 25.

Registration for Mania 4 has begun!
It's finally here. . .registration for Mania 4!
It will be Sept 26, 27 and 28 at the same place: Hilton Garden Inn in Alpharetta, Georgia
same time: Friday 2 pm til Sunday 6pm
same agenda: crop, shop, socialize in your order of preference! Make and Takes are free, Classes will have an additional fee paid to the instructor.
One thing has changed. . .the price! It's $175 for the Crop Fee. The rental rate for the meeting rooms went up and I rent 4 rooms each day for 3 days. The Crop Fee includes your table space in the Crop Room, dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, door prize entry and SWAG bag {which may or may not be filled by Provo Craft}. I will be inviting PC.
The format/rules will be the same as previous Mania weekends.
Hotel guests rooms are the same and should be booked directly with the hotel. Single $74, Double $79, Triple $84 and Quad $89. Breakfast is included in the room rate. You will book your room directly with the hotel.
If you want to attend, send an email to trentfamily@gmail.com. If there are more people who want to attend than there are seats, I will use a lottery system to fill the seats. Please let me know if you want to attend and I will then contact you by email.

Mania is ALMOST here!
It's hard to believe that Mania will be starting in just 3 days! Hope everyone is as excited as I am! I'm busy finishing up some projects and my craft desk is a mess! But it's so worth it!
I'm very pleased to announce that Mallie from the marketing department at Provo Craft will be joining us at Mania! She has plan an iron on vinyl project for us for Friday before dinner. So be sure to stop by the "classroom" {the room across the elevator/staircase foyer} to make a project.
Mallie and Provo Craft will be providing a luncheon for everyone attending Mania on Saturday! This will be held in the other meeting rooms, next to the "classroom". And, she will have a surprise guest join us from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday! I have some guesses as to who the surprise guest might be, but Mallie won't tell. She wants it to be a surprise!
The weather forecast for Atlanta looks good! Maybe a little rain on Thursday but sunny and a little chilly {for us southerners!}.
As some of you are aware, due to a glitch, I don't have access to the Circle forums on the Cricut MB. So if you have any questions or concerns, please send me an email or PM. See you all soon!!!

It's already September ~ Mania is getting closer!
I just ordered the SWAG bags! I might even show a sneak peak of them once the color is confirmed.
Mary has already started the online CTMH party and will be giving away Artbooking carts! {The link to her page is http://creatingwithheart.ctmh.com

PC has generously donated an E2 for the OWH Card Drive and I've already received 10 cards!!!
We'll be having a SU online party and a Thirty-One online party! If there is a CM rep attending Mania and you want to host an online party, let me know! {Assuming all the changes to CM doesn't include total disbursement of the company~I haven't been following what's going on with CM.}
Renee will be teaching classes again and has made samples {that someone already saw!} which are awesome!
The hotel is on track with their renovations! So we'll have new carpets and wallpaper and paint and furnishings! {Although, I thought it was a pretty nice hotel already!}
Plus, there are some fun things in the works with PC and the LSS {all 3 of them} but it's too soon to announce them all!
Looking into a U-stream broadcast from Mania {even if it's just a short one}!

Card Drive for Operation Write Home
Once again, we will be having a card drive for Operation Write Home at Mania! At the last Mania, we collected 1010 handmade cards for our troops overseas!
And, once again, PC has generously donated an E2 to be given to one lucky card maker!
Here's how it will work. . .for every 10 cards you make and donate, you get one ticket into the drawing for the E2. You can make as many cards as you want {just make sure they meet the OWH guidelines}. The cards can be ones you make just for this card drive or they can be cards you've made previously to have on hand or for challenges or design teams. As long as it meets the OWH guidelines, it counts! You can make multiples of the same card {no more than 10 of each design}.
And, you can participate even if you aren't attending Mania! You can bring your cards with you to Mania or you can mail them to me if you aren't attending. [cool]
